Thanks to the top blokes at BIGFAT Shows and Rest Assured Zine I'm stoked today to announce the Aussie tour for our hardcore Swedes ANCHOR!! The guys are geared up to play thirteen shows covering five states in the first two weeks of March. Gold Coast labelmate's PROMISES will be joining them on the first leg of the tour along with a couple of shows with fellow banana benders DRIVEN FEAR and even PROVOKE regrouping for their first show in... a long time!!! We're starting the year with a massive sale, most folks do 'spring cleaning' but as we're not usually ones to follow trends we've done it in the heat of summer! Although we'll be here until about midday Friday 23rd when we do our last mail run to the post office, this will probably be the last news update for the year. Our Melbourne lads MINDSET will be joining them on the tour for most of their NSW and VIC shows too giving punters a double dose of PEE REC love! Stoked today to announce the signing of Adelaide party punk band HIGHTIME to the PEE REC family! I've been a big fan of these punks since they played their first show in 2009 [which was a PEE REC gig], and as anyone who's seen them play will agree, they put on one hellova live show! After teasing everyone with a killer demo and a promise of an actual release that's been "coming soon" for what seems like forever HIGHTIME recently dropped 13 freshly recorded tracks on my desk that have been getting a flogging here in the office! Titled "Ishi Prende" the debut album was mastered by Jason Livermore at The Blasting Room and features some awesome artwork by talented Spanish punk artist Javi. "Ishi Prende" will be released November this year with pre-order packages available here next month. You can stream their first song from the album "Beer Garden", which also appears on the PEE #47 Sampler CD, at HIGHTIME's facebook page here and watch the video for it here! They hit the road this weekend for the 2011 Ska Weekender tour so if you're in Adelaide, Melbourne or Sydney check them out - venue and show info here! Welcome to the PEE family HIGHTIME!
